How does M-Pesa tracking work?
On iPhone, paste a supported M-Pesa transaction message into Monee and choose a category. iOS does not allow Monee to read your SMS inbox. On Android, supported builds can recognise M-Pesa SMS locally with your permission. Manual entry is available on both.
Do I need an account?
No. You can record purchases, use budgets, review charts and export reports without an account. Optional Apple or Google sign-in does not back up or sync your transactions.
Can I export my records?
Yes. Export an Excel report with transactions, category totals, budgets and a period summary. You choose where to save or share it. The report is not an in-app restore file.
Can I download Monee now?
We are preparing the first release for Kenya. Public App Store and Google Play downloads are not available yet. Need help with a test build? Contact support.
